Alan Jackson and Joe Nichols...Just Weeks Apart!

Joe Nichols is performing after the Clovis Rodeo tomorrow night. While I should probably be spending the evening studying, I am going to the rodeo (for the first time in my life!), and his concert afterwards. Actually, I'm only going because he will be there. I saw him open for Alan Jackson a couple of times, and ended up liking him too!

I'm not really a country music fan (ie., I never listen to country music radio stations), but I do enjoy both Joe and Alan's music. I've seen Alan in concert 3 times (best was in Mountain View when we had seats in the 4th row!), and Joe twice (both times in opening for Alan).

It is already a treat to be able to see Joe Nichols, so imagine how thrilled I was to find out that Alan Jackson is coming to town next month! He is going to be at Table Mountain Casino. Thankfully, that one will be after finals are over. But how cool to see both of them within a few weeks! I'm hoping Alan sings some songs from his new cd, Precious Memories. I LOVE "I'll Fly Away", and would love to see that performed live.
