Erwin Chemerinsky wrote this recent article for the LA Times, which was reprinted in today's Fresno Bee. Would be interesting if some of this is discussed in the final debate this week.

I'm a deputy district attorney and former stay at home mom. I view a career in law as a way of expanding the volunteer work that I have been doing for years--- it will be another way for me to help those who need it. My inspiration verse is: "Defend the cause of the weak and fatherless; maintain the rights of the poor and oppressed. Rescue the weak and needy; deliver them from the hand of the wicked." Psalm 82:3-4
