The Gratuitous Promise: not worth anything, but I'm making it anyway!.........My thoughts as a stay-at-home mom turned law student, who just passed the California bar exam.
Yesterday was the one year anniversary of me starting this blog to document my law school experience. It really was a way for me to review everything I go through, and I suppose, savor my successes and rejoice in being beyond my failures. That others even bother to read it kind of stymies me. Anyway, here's to that completed year, and to less than 2 more to go! :)

I'm a deputy district attorney and former stay at home mom. I view a career in law as a way of expanding the volunteer work that I have been doing for years--- it will be another way for me to help those who need it. My inspiration verse is: "Defend the cause of the weak and fatherless; maintain the rights of the poor and oppressed. Rescue the weak and needy; deliver them from the hand of the wicked." Psalm 82:3-4
