The Gratuitous Promise: not worth anything, but I'm making it anyway!.........My thoughts as a stay-at-home mom turned law student, who just passed the California bar exam.
So, yeah, I changed my blog today.....besides using a new pic of me, I changed the colors. Yes, I had heard from so MANY of you that the dark blue gloomy background just didn't match my naturally cheery and positive attitude, so here ya go! Honestly, I do think it is a better expression of my personality. Hope you like it too! :)

I'm a deputy district attorney and former stay at home mom. I view a career in law as a way of expanding the volunteer work that I have been doing for years--- it will be another way for me to help those who need it. My inspiration verse is: "Defend the cause of the weak and fatherless; maintain the rights of the poor and oppressed. Rescue the weak and needy; deliver them from the hand of the wicked." Psalm 82:3-4
